Alright.Let’s be honest — cross-country skiing is one of the most badass sports in the world… and one of the worst at showing it.

You’ve got athletes training 900 hours a year, eating porridge out of Tupperware, and hammering intervals in the rain — and then when it’s finally time to race? You can’t even find a legal stream that works outside Norway.

We love this sport, but the way it’s shown? It’s like hiding a Ferrari under a tarp.

So, What’s the Plan?

We started Skirious Problems as a podcast because we were tired of the same boring interviews where everyone says “the skis were good.”Now we’re turning it into something bigger — a full-blown network for skiing, by skiers.

We call it Skirious Problems Network.Think GCN but for XC skiing, and a bit more unhinged.

What We’re Trying to Do

We want to make skiing fun and free again.

That means:

  • Telling real stories, not just who got first and who blew up.

  • Making news that’s actually entertaining to read.

  • Shooting vlogs that show what it’s really like to live this sport — not the Instagram-filtered version.

  • Giving athletes a platform to show personality (and maybe a few bad haircuts).

Basically, if it makes you laugh and makes you want to go skiing, it’s Skirious.

Why? Because the System Is Broken

Every skier knows the pain:You want to watch a race, and suddenly you need 4 different subscriptions, 3 VPNs, and a master’s degree in Norwegian.

We’re done with that.

We want a world where you can open YouTube, click on Skirious, and boom — you get highlights, dumb commentary, inside jokes, and some actual emotion.

We’re not trying to replace NRK or Eurosport. We just want to bring the soul of the sport back.

The Bigger Picture

We’ll start with cross-country, but we’ve got our eyes on biathlon, ski jumping, maybe even Nordic combined (yeah, those mad lads).

We’ll make content that hits all sides:

  • Podcasts (the OG Skirious Problems)

  • YouTube (vlogs, stories, random chaos)

  • Written stuff (funny ski news that doesn’t make you fall asleep)

  • A fan app where you can actually support your favorite athletes directly — no middlemen.

And maybe one day, we’ll stream races live, for free, in every country. That’s the dream.

Why This Matters

Skiing needs to stop pretending to be golf. It’s not polite. It’s wild, cold, exhausting, and hilarious.

The sport is full of legends and lunatics — and we want to show that side. If people can fall in love with cycling through YouTube, why can’t they fall in love with skiing the same way?

We’re just two pros who love the sport enough to try something stupid — and maybe, just maybe, change it a little.

So yeah — this is Skirious Problems Network. It’s about skiing, but it’s also about people, stories, and a bit of chaos.Stick around. It’s gonna get… Skirious.
